Interior Designer and Homewares queen Addy Nuthall will take you on an 8 day tour through Mexico to shop for stylish treasures and explore the sights and delights of the incredible Central Mexico region.

From Mexico City, onto Puebla and finishing at Oaxaca, Addy will personally provide you with tips on how to style your home and fill it with the perfect pieces for your space.

It’s not just about shopping – you’ll also explore the must-see Mexican attractions and delve into delicious Mexican cuisine (and maybe a tequila!) along the way.

  • Welcome to Mexico City! A city steeped in a rich colourful culture and history, and a shopper’s paradise with markets galore. After checking in at your Mexican accommodation and having time to unwind, you will meet your friendly Tour Guide Addy Nuthall for an evening tour of Centro Histórico (the Historic Centre.)

    The beating heart of the city lies within Centro Histórico, the vast expanse of historical buildings and monuments that are a must when exploring Mexico City.

    Enjoy a Welcome Reception & Dinner for a culinary experience that combines traditional Mexican fare.

  • Shop for arts and crafts at the local markets. Your specialised Tour Guide Addy will show you just the place to shop for ceramics, silver jewellery, wool blankets, and art handmade all over Mexico.

    Continue exploring Mexico City including a boat excursion on the colourful Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, a famous World Heritage Site.

  • Discover more of Mexico City’s beautiful historic centre including admiring the

    National Cathedral, the beautiful Post Office Building. Also visiting an amazing department store with an extravagant stain-glass ceiling.

    More shopping for those guests hunting for hidden treasures to take back home.

  • Say Adios to Mexico City this morning and travel by private minibus to Puebla. Arrive in Puebla late afternoon and get to know the city on a short orientation walk with your Tour Guide. The historic centre of Puebla which is a UNESCO world heritage site and its colonial architecture with colourful glazes is simply stunning.

    Drop into a famous little Mexican bar where you may like to try a Pasita, a Mexican sweet liquor.

  • Visit a local artisan workshop to discover more about the Talavera pottery tradition which Puebla is famous for. The perfect opportunity to take a beautiful Mexican piece home.

    In the afternoon, check out one of the markets where you can brush up on your bargaining skills or pick up some local handicrafts unique to the Puebla region.

  • Travel by private minibus to Oaxaca, one of Mexico's most enchanting cities.

    This afternoon, discover the colourful historic centre with your Tour Guide. Wander along Oaxaca City’s historic cobblestone streets, admiring the vibrant local street art and absorbing the wonderful, rich Mexican culture.

  • Visit a nearby village and drop into a homemade artisan rug workshop to learn

    about the distinct weaving technique. The rugs are marvellous – sift through to find one to take home. Remember, you have your Tour Guide who is an Interior Design expert to offer tips!

    Visit an archaeological site that is UNESCO heritage listed and is one of the largest and most important archaeological sites in Mexico.

    Last hit of shopping! Explore the local market for colourful sculptures & beautiful pottery.

  • After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to your fellow guests. You’ll head home taking beautiful memories and hopefully Mexican treasures with you.

    If you would like to spend more time in your accommodation at the beginning or end of the tour, speak to us about arranging additional accommodation ahead of time (subject to availability).
